Hello, my name is Bulend. I am a seasoned multidisciplinary visual designer based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, working globally / remotely.
WHAT DO I WORK ON?
My design work is focused but not limited to crafting compelling and comprehensive identities and interfaces that inhabit both physical and digital worlds.
I believe that by not staying confined to just one area of expression, a designer brings experiences from one discipline to another with each new project, adding extra value along the way.
This is why, alongside visual design, I take an interest in philosophy, art history, photography, and programming.
WHAT BEING A VISUAL DESIGNER MEANS TO ME?
For me, being a visual designer goes far beyond creating beautiful visuals—it's about solving challenges, delivering value, and making a meaningful impact. It involves understanding people's needs and aspirations, applying empathy, curiosity, and collaboration to craft effective solutions.
WHAT I BELIEVE?
Less truly is more. As Antoine de Saint-Exupéry wrote in Airman's Odyssey: Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.
Design is both communication and subtlety. For me, it's about uncovering the essence of things and letting them shine. This approach isn't just a method—it’s the only way I see design working effectively.
